In South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
At South Philadelphia Structured Living, we aim to provide exceptional sober living accommodations for men and women in Pennsylvania. Our primary objective is to create an environment that is welcoming, comfortable, supportive, and conducive to ongoing recovery efforts. We understand that building healthy, sober relationships with others is an integral part of the recovery process, which is why we place a strong emphasis on fostering a sense of community and mutual trust, respect, and understanding among residents. We not only pride ourselves on being the best sober living home in Philadelphia, but among the best recovery homes in the entire state of Pennsylvania. Our residents’ well-being is our top priority, and we strive to provide a safe and comforting living environment for all who reside with us.
We have found that exploring our world in a new and healthy way can help maintain long-term addiction recovery. We’re proud to offer sober programs to men seeking comfort and support during the early phases of recovery. We go beyond being the best sober living homes. We are family and treat our guests as such. If you have completed addiction treatment and are looking for a safe place to get back on track, look no further than us.
Sober living homes, also called recovery homes, offer a supportive living environment for individuals who have completed addiction treatment and are looking to maintain their sobriety and prevent relapse. These homes provide a comfortable and safe environment to foster ongoing recovery efforts and help individuals transition back into daily life. They provide structured daily activities and an environment free of drugs and alcohol, with zero-tolerance policy for substance use on the premises.
The residents are also expected to follow certain rules, have accountability, and be actively involved in the community, which help them stay focused on their recovery goals. Sober living homes offer a crucial step in the continuum of care for individuals in recovery, providing an essential bridge between addiction treatment and independent living through methods of relapse prevention and 12-step programs.
Our homes are decorated nicely and tidied up by staff before your arrival, as our top priority is to provide a clean and welcoming environment. Our staff knows what addiction is like and have experienced some of the worst living conditions other sober homes have to offer. We do everything in our power to ensure our guests feel at home and are receiving the proper care they need.
In addition to housing, our guests will attend meetings and group activities to provide support for one another through recovery. The best way to prevent relapse is to feel alive again and have a group of people you can trust and reach out to. This family-oriented atmosphere is what we take pride in most at South Philadelphia Structured Living.
We believe an imperative part to recovery is helping an individual integrate back into society through a smooth transition after addiction treatment. Everything we feel and do relates to our well-being and directly affects our actions and emotions. In our recovery homes, we help our residents live out their potential for their mental, physical, and spiritual well being. We assist residents in getting involved in helping out around our community, neighbors, as well as our own peers as part as giving back.
At SPSL, fun is also essential in early recovery, sobriety and life in general. Creating new memories and experiences can help maintain sober living and reduce the weight is on your shoulders. We incorporate various different forms of entertainment including movie nights, camping trips, charter fishing trips, amusement park trips and more things to do in Pennsylvania & New Jersey, all covered by housing.
We believe that achieving optimal wellness in a sober living environment requires a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of one’s life. This includes not only the physical environment, but also the community, career, belief systems, physical activities, self-care, self-esteem, and creative activities. To facilitate this, we created an approach that encourages and supports our residents in their efforts to achieve optimal wellness.
One of the key components of our approach is the encouragement of self-help meetings, such as 12 step meetings for alcohol and drug abuse (AA, NA, CA, etc.), Smart Recovery, Al-Anon, and Grief Groups, among others. Additionally, we offer a range of outpatient services, including resume building, therapy, job search assistance, and more. By incorporating wellness into every aspect of daily life, residents can achieve their full potential and live with passion and purpose. We support our residents in their efforts to live a healthy and meaningful life in recovery.
